finally convinced somebody to get a western dragon. im sure you will agree it absolutely destroys a poncy asian one. all done in one sitting. very pleased with the results!!

Sak yant style tigers

my first sak yant style piece. was good fun but scary as hell writing line upon line of god knows what. When it comes to this old buddhist writing, I dont know arse from elbow, so I had to obsess over the original stencil image like a madman. The tigers originally looked like gay manga tabby cats having an argument, so I entirely redrew their heads while trying to keep the style goin on. I feel I succeeded.

a pinup makeover

 the client brought in an image, and asked for me to change the pinup from a straight haired blonde to a more latina kinda look. I kept the body and pose as requested and changed the eyebrows, face and eyes to get a new look. As usual, i loved doing the hair.

one more session left on this, i reckon. there is a gerbera flower on the back of the arm with a smaller scroll banner. once that and the banners are complete and the text is done, itll be finally finished. its really exciting now that some of my larger pieces are nearing completion. my folio is gonna suddenly explode.
